Nash loves tub time. He is a crazy splasher and loves to scream and yell. Today when I tried to get him out of the tub he kept squirming away. (more new videos on the videos link to the right)

look who's 11 months old!

today i am 11 months old-only one more month till my 1st birthday (on thanksgiving this year). mommy is planning a party for me and i'll get to eat my first birthday cake!

new things: i throw temper tantrums and can stand all by myself for a really long time. even on the wobbly bed. i also ride in a big boy car seat-facing forward!

favorite drink: gatorade

favorite food: whatever mommy & daddy are eating

big boy style

mommy got me a big boy car seat for our trip to vegas last weekend. she thought i would be happier on the long drive if i could see out the windows and see her and daddy in the front seat. boy was she right! i was the best boy and didn't even cry until we were almost there (cause that's what i always do).

both grandpa's have expressed their concern for nash's taste in beverages. although he appears to be drinking a refreshing caffeinated beverage, he is in fact drinking nothing. the can is empty. we should have mentioned that sooner. do not fret, grandfathers, we are not corrupting your grandson. although i do recall a certain grandpa letting nash sip coke through a straw at only six months! and penning him with a tattoo to match steven's! just throwing it out there!

"nash radical"- sounds like a good name for a band. mommy's dream of me becoming a general contractor might be set on the back burner for a while, cause i sure loved playing my ukulele today!

gwampa tended me last week and had some chores to do, so i helped out as best i could by riding along on the mower with him. the loud engine didn't even scare me!

all in a day's work

i go to work with mommy a lot now since daddy is in school all day. today i just couldn't hang on any longer and crashed midway through my bottle. you know i am tired if i don't even finish eating cause i love food! thanks to auntie em for letting me nap on her and interrupt her hard working.

an update on my skillz

daddy started law school this week, so i spent a lot of time with mommy and now i am super attached. i'm driving her crazy! luckily i came up with some new tricks to charm her-i can click my tongue and give her big wet kisses! not to mention that my crawling skills are unsurpassed (big word for an almost-nine-month-old, huh?). i also enjoy pulling up on anything i can, including lexi. and i LOVE to get into lexi's food bowl when mommy and daddy aren't looking. lucky for me, lexi is the nicest doggy ever and doesn't get mad at me.

i'm a poundcake

even though i'm no fat baby (i measure below average for weight and above for height), everyone feels they need to comment on my weight. "he's a tank!" "you're gonna be a linebacker!" "he's like a lead weight". so tonight daddy decided that my new nickname (i already have so many!) should be "poundcake" because i guess i am built like one-dense (and sooo sweet!).

we went to mommy's family reunion in baker city, or a few weeks ago. it was the annual miner's jubilee, so there were fun things happening, including my first parade!

i'm going to be a shark for my first halloween! of course, i'll be much more fierce on that special day! mommy just couldn't wait to try this out. now... picture a little blood running from my lips and mommy missing an arm! it's going to be so spooky!
